By Bridging BizTalk Resource Shortfalls
The BizTalk developers of a fast growing technology company in the South were committed full-time to other projects when an urgent change request was approved to a BizTalk order processing system. With no resources available to them internally, the company engaged us to implement the change request. After an initial familiarisation period with their BizTalk solution our experienced team created a design specification for the change request before starting development.

After comprehensive testing, the work was delivered as an installable package which the company then deployed swiftly in to production. This approach enabled our customer to cope with a sudden, but short term, increase in demand whilst maintaining quality and limiting overheads.
Resolving Critical Production Issues
A blocker BizTalk issue was preventing an NHS hospital in Wales going live with
their critical BizTalk platform for HL7 message exchange. During a migration from
BizTalk 2004 to BizTalk 2006 a key component of their BizTalk solution stopped working.
There was some urgency to their situation as the switchover date to the new platform
was looming fast.
An experienced BizTalk consultant attended on-site at short notice after an initial briefing by phone and email. The BizTalk consultant worked with the hospital's IT department to rapidly diagnose the issue (a problem with a parsing component) then proposed a number of suitable resolutions, one of which was taken forwards by the IT department's BizTalk developers to a satisfactory conclusion.
Improving Efficiency Through Automation
Our large wholesale distribution customer in London had introduced a new just-in-time delivery service to their clients to reduce unnecessary deliveries and product wastage. However, the service relied on a combination of manual and semi-automated processes that would not scale as the transaction volumes increased.
They engaged us to build a new system, based on BizTalk, to automate the whole process and deal with the significant increase in transaction volumes. The solution involved implementation of numerous interfaces with their trading partners and clients, loading of large volumes of sales data in to a centralised processing database to analyse supply & demand trends then transferring orders to branch warehouse management systems around the country for fulfilment.
What was once a very manual and onerous system to manage has now been fully automated. The system is even self-monitoring; should part of the system fail or a service level agreement be breached the support desk will be notified whereupon a resolution can be actioned immediately
